The milky colour of the water in this lake is provided by the high silica content and plays along perfectly to isolate the subject. Almost a minute long exposure was used to smoothen up the water surface and a shooting position very close to the water helped to catch a distinguishable reflection of the clouds in the sky to further contribute to providing a sense of heavenly calm in this picture.
